Device targeting for Google Search Ads isn’t straight forward. I wasted about an hour finding the documentation on Google. Below is how to target desktop only on your search ads.
First go to the campaign you’re trying to make go after mobile or desktop. Click on devices.
In the bid adj. column, select the devices you’re trying to not have ads come up on. Then decrease the bid by 100%.
Whatever devices you put these settings on your ads won’t show up.
